FTP Site

FTP, a standard Internet protocol, is the simplest way to exchange files between computers on the Internet. FTP is an application protocol that uses the Internet's TCP/IP protocols.

FTP might be necessary when you might not be able to send attachments in email. This may be due to the size of the attachments. The standard practice when sending attachments in emails is that the files should be less than one megabyte. When you have a larger file, FTP is probably the fastest and simplest way to transfer files.

In order to access our FTP site, you need to obtain a user name and password. Please contact us at (800) 649-4280 for more information.

To Download a file: 1) Click on the FTP Link – ftp.ztechinc.com 2) Enter your username and password (Call 800-649-4280) 3) You will see 2 folders 4) Double-click on Download Folder 5) Locate/Browse to your folder 6) To Download to your machine - right-click on the file and choose copy 7) Minimize the FTP Window and locate your desktop or folder 8) Right Click on your desktop or folder and click paste 9) You will see the file downloading to your machine To Upload a file: 1) Right-click on the file on your machine and choose copy 2) Click on the FTP Link – ftp.ztechinc.com (opens in a new window) 3) Enter your username and password (Call 800-649-4280) 4) You will see 2 folders 5) Locate/Browse to your folder 6) Right Click in your clients folder and click paste 7) You will see the file uploading from your machine
